I take mental health awareness seriously and encourage people to reach out when they need help. I've wrestled with saying this out loud, but since I encourage the practice of being open, I will admit that I'm not okay. It's okay to not feel okay. It's okay to know it will get better.

What it really boils down to is this fear of biologically male students using female locker rooms in a predatory way. Given the hardships trans students already face, the very last thing they want to do is cause harm to anyone else around them. All they want is equal and fair treatment.
