i havent learned to draw in the sonic artstyle yet so i just translated her design into my human au. i hope you like it. took me like two hours. basically she's pinning shadow against the wall and embarrassing him. which fits their dynamic i think. anyway tell me what you think if you do reply!

cringey_misfortune @cringeymisfortune.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

@shadowtheeditor.bsky.social shadrixie fanart! sorry if you cant see/read it well. ik the quality is trash but i tried. i dont have the resources for digital so we gotta suffer with my android quality. maybe one day. anyway i like your oc a lot and thought i'd draw some fanart of her and shadow.

the real reason silver wasn't in tmosth... he would fold under the pressure of lying to his crush [ #sonic #sth #espilver ]

A digital drawing of Silver the Hedgehog, who is dressed like a postman, handing a letter with a heart to Espio the Chameleon, who is dressed like a poet. Silver says, "Special delivery for Espio T. Chameleon!" And text that reads "feeling incredibly guilty" is written next to Espio.

A digital drawing continuing the previous one. Espio says, "I killed him, Silver." Silver replies "Oh," and no longer offers Espio the letter.

yeah never understood that. when they broke up in the show i was like HELL YEAH and then found out people still ship them 💔

cringey_misfortune @cringeymisfortune.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

May Sonally never die even if Sally's been gone for almost a decade and may the fans of it continue to shine through and feed us content for decades to come!

000

cringey_misfortune @cringeymisfortune.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

also yes, I ship Li Moon and Zooey. I made the ship. I am currently the CEO, the person who will eventually feed the content pipeline, and singlehandedly make sure everyone who knows these characters knows the ship name: Moonooey. Anyway: Happy Sonally Week!!!

It's about memories, growing up, second chances, and realizing that moving forward doesn't mean leaving the past behind. Also Eggman is at the wedding. Shadow gives Sonic relationship advice. Sonic doesn't know what a cummerbund is. Marine ruins a moment. You know. Important plot developments.

cringey_misfortune @cringeymisfortune.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

So naturally, I wrote them a giant love letter. The Road We Never Took (archiveofourown.org/works/90554546) is a fanfic what if future AU scenario where Sonic goes to Li Moon and Zooey's wedding, runs into Sally after years apart, and ends up confronting everything he's spent years running from.

If you don't know me, let me tell you that Sonally is VERY close to my heart. I used to be a diehard Sonamy shipper when I first got into Sonic because it was basically the “canon” ship everyone expected you to like, but then I read Archie and fell completely in love with Sonic and Sally.

110

cringey_misfortune @cringeymisfortune.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

I KNOW I'M LATE BUT HAPPY SONALLY WEEK 2026!!! 💙❤️ #sonallyweek2026 #rally4sally I've been secretly working on this one behind the scenes because I HAD to celebrate my favorite ship for both characters somehow. And apparently my definition of “somehow” is writing 7k words.

cringey_misfortune @cringeymisfortune.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

yeah and take this from a huge silver fan. i can understand where she came from. should she have gone about it a different way? absolutely. but did she apologize and redeem herself? of course. i think that's why the discourse died down bc she apologized but... the fandom is still divided as usual.

110

cringey_misfortune @cringeymisfortune.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

sally, barely anybody likes bartleby. i thought his voice was hot but that was it he sucks imo

110

cringey_misfortune @cringeymisfortune.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

shes like kind of hated but liked in the fandom??? its because of what she did to silver and whisper in the arc but most people have mellowed out now that its happened so long ago. i personally like that shes not an optimist (we have enough) and i also think shes cute!

Do they play a bigger role in how she and Shadow connect, or is that something you're saving for later? No pressure if it's spoilers—I just think her powers are really fascinating and I'd LOVE to know more. I'm a huge lore gremlin and once I get into lore, there's no stopping me lol.

000

cringey_misfortune @cringeymisfortune.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

But for me, what interests me about her the most is her dream manipulation powers. That's a power I rarely see used! I just wanted to know, and it's okay if you can't delve deeper due to spoilers but...

@bellefrenzy.bsky.social Hi! Sorry to bother you... I had a random lore question about René if that's okay? 😭 I've been thinking about her lately as one does with a very cool OC like yours... Specifically her dream powers because they're such a cool concept. You've mentioned her healing powers...

cringey_misfortune @cringeymisfortune.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

lmao real. except for the last part. they treat me like im a disney main character bc i fit all the boxes. tripping, awkward asf, a close unit of friends. like excuse me did i ask for that??? no...

010

cringey_misfortune @cringeymisfortune.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

Some of the dynamics I’ll be talking about include: 💜 Espilver 🌰Sonally 🌸 Shadamy 🔥 Jetaze 🌊 Knuxikal ⚡ Tailsmo 🐰 Kitream/Creamkit (I like Creamkit better even if the official name is Kitream) plus a LOT more because apparently my brain looked at Sonic’s cast and said “everyone needs to interact.”

000

cringey_misfortune @cringeymisfortune.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

So when I talk about Convergence ships, I’m not just talking about pairings. I’m talking about character arcs, emotional connections, friendships, rivalries, and the ways people can change each other. (aka me overanalyzing fictional characters again 💀)

100

cringey_misfortune @cringeymisfortune.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

How would someone’s past change how they interact with someone else? What would they learn from each other? What parts of themselves would they discover?

100

cringey_misfortune @cringeymisfortune.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

A big part of Convergence is taking characters from different corners of Sonic history and asking: “What would happen if these people actually got to meet?”
