I picked up a day subbing at summer school which wasn't supposed to interfere with updating in the evening, but my sister asked me to go out to dinner with my nieces and see Toy Story 5, and apologies my loves, but my girls always take precedence.

Update Link: You're Not Sorry - Part 114 Happy Wednesday! I'm so glad I took a little break from writing You're Not Sorry to properly set up an ending. Sometimes you just need some space to see things a bit clearly I reread the first 200 pages or so, and that really helped me get back into head space. Right now, there are three parts planned -- today, Friday, and Monday.

Update Link: The Archer - Part 6 I am dragging so hard today, and it's really my own fault. The Phillies had a rain delay, so they didn't play until 8:15, and I stayed up until they lost (boo), but I didn't actually manage to get to sleep until almost 1. I should have gone to bed as soon as the game was over.

I had posted over the weekend that I was planning to start updating daily with You're Not Sorry on Mon, Wed, and Fri this week finishing it up, and then Tues/Thurs for the Archer, then some perks on Patreon.

Update: The Archer - Part 5 Hey! I mentioned yesterday I had a doctor's appointment in the morning, so I would be getting to my update late. Well, the appointment took longer than I planned, and I have to clock a certain amount of hours each day for curriculum writing so by the time that got done, it was just too late to think about writing.

Update Link: The Archer - Part 4 Hello! Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone is having a great day 🙂 Tomorrow's update will almost certainly be later. I have a dentist appointment that they just pushed back to 9AM, and the Phillies play at 2, so I'll probably be updating around 6 or 7, depending on when that gets done. I didn't finish the recent updates page, so that's been pushed back to Thursday. Update Link: The Archer - Part 3 Hello! Happy first Monday of summer! I'm waiting to hear about summer school this week -- I should know by Friday's update because registration finishes on Thursday. I had three French I failures, two French II, and 1 French III, so odds are somewhat better than last year. It's a useful paycheck in the summer; otherwise, your girl is on rice by the end of August.

Update Link: You're Not Sorry - Part 112 Hello 🙂 It's such a crazy part of the year -- I'm pretty much done all the grading (handful of projects left to deal with), my desk is cleaned out and I'm just working on packing away things in a way that won't make me cry in August. Last year, I was so burned out that I feel like I shoved things in closet and was like September me will deal with it.

I didn't have to prep a single piece of content, write or post lesson plans, or even touch Google Slides. All I have to do this week is keep the kids alive, finish my grades by 2 PM on Thursday, and I am DONE.

Update Link: You're Not Sorry - Part 110 Hello! We're back with the final pieces of this story, which will conclude with Part 114, so four more updates after today. I've got all the scenes sketched out, so it should be finished early next week. We only have one more full day (tomorrow!) and then the kids are all half days next week.

Update Link: The Archer - Part 2 I wasn't feeling well most of the weekend, and this morning I felt really ... off. I don't really know how to explain it better than that. I ended up using my last personal day and just slept pretty much the entire morning, only getting up around 1:30. Other than a sore throat, I don't really know why.

I'm going to sacrifice the first hour of the Phillies game to write. Update Link: You're Not Sorry - Part 108 Hope everyone is having a good day 🙂 Weather in New Jersey is back in the 70s this week -- it actually got so chilly here I had to close all my windows and wear long sleeves inside. I hate when the season is going back and forth. PICK A STRUGGLE. Kate Mansi is leaving GH as Kristina which is such a relief -- she plays such an unlikeable version of that character and that really surprised me because I'd watched her on Days as Abby, and I really liked her.
