Please share your feedback on how genAI destroys the livelihoods of artists on the official EU website. You can do so even if you're not an EU citizen. We have to be loud so the change will come, and practice shoes that voicing hatred towards genAI works ec.europa.eu/info/law/bet...

Please sign and share this petition if you care about small artists and their businesses! c.org/R8MBNwbJMY This regulation is very harmful and caused many people to shut down their stores/sales in Europe

had this pulled up for my freelancing guide how topical indeed

A screenshot of a tumblr post.

From user radiqueer:
Human relationships are not transactional but they are reciprocal, which I think many of you with your ‘i don’t owe anyone anything’ shtick are too happy to forget.

From user aromanticduck:
Transactional: everything has to be exactly 50/50 all the time, pay me back for the £5 sandwich or buy me something worth exactly £5, I refuse to make an effort for you if there’s nothing in it for me

Reciprocal: you were there for me when I needed help, and I’m going to do the same for you, it doesn’t matter if one of us needs more or is capable of less, because the point is not equivalent exchange but mutual care

the amount of people rolling into my dms lately or sending me friend requests just to try and sell me art or stuff is just too darn high... is this the new standard to get hired in this ai forsaken artists world? I wanna chat with mutuals, not with a salesperson...

1st art in 2026 - Raphael and Haarlep in the valley of snow-dicks <3 I'm convinved Raphael doesn't like snow or the cold in general (daddy issues) and Haarlep loves it. So despite disliking it Raphael will sometimes make an effort to join, just for Haarlep's sake
