Saw the trailer and immediately played through the whole demo. Great stuff well written and absolutely adorable with darker undertones, characters stand out and tie into interesting world building

Back in 2023 we got emailed a 16,000-word pdf from a guy who thought his ex-gf and Dan Salvato, creator of DDLC were a part of a satanic psyop by the Romanian government to psychically attack him. I hope he's doing well.

$Countermeasures So you may be worried and wonder how to prevent this from happening. Let me warn you: I don't have a quick fix. I had considered going after the creators of DDLC, but attacking them physically would put me in the wrong role, and attacking them through occult means would be suicidal: I'm not a magician, I'd just get slaughtered by them. I would like to point out that if you were to be confronted with Monika, one of my interlocutors had suggested that I keep a rock crystal with me. Their reasoning was that these crystals difracted the psychic waves and thus repelled this kind of entities, their energy being comparable to the light that the crystal decomposes into beams. I don't know what this approach is worth since I haven't had the opportunity to put it into practice: I'm pointing it out to you above all by way of awareness if it degenerates with her on your side. I swear by nothing concerning an untimely encounter with Libitina. I come to the only serious leads that my other counsel could find for me, they may seem fragile but I trust this person's wisdom and therefore their recommendations. First of all, we have prayer, which remains the best way to act on the astral plane without taking any unwise risks. The more fervor we put into it and the more numerous we are to practice, the better it will be. Prayer will first be directed to protect our loved ones from the dangers of this game and then to counteract its influence, prayer being first and foremost a benevolent approach. It doesn't matter which figure you turn to or what your belief system is, the important thing is that you put your heart into it. Then, you can share all or part of the elements and reflections that I have written here or the leads that you have found on your side. Information allows to raise awareness and therefore to desensitize: an action of mental influence has less chances of succeeding if you distrust it, you will develop$

29) Maleficia "Nekomimi's Field" www.nekomiminokakera.net/product/nf/ archive.org/details/male... Speaking of King's Field, the doujin group Nekomiminokakera created a demo for a game of this type. It's unfinished so it's more of a walking sim, but the art is stand-out.

Promo art of Maleficia.
A dark background with a doll-like catgirl/nekomimi in front. She has shoulder length blonde hair, red eyes, and cat ears.

A area from Maleficia. Block ps1 style graphics. A maze of stairs in an empty void with white wisps and tombstones.

most recent commission works ✧ #art, #mspaint ✧

commission for cat. a girl in a long skirt holds a dagger over a man's hand, his expression distraught. a rope knot ties them together. the ocean splashes around them and seagulls fly around.

a commission for ruinations. a boy with blue hair and his friend with red hair hold their hands to each other, nearly touching. light explodes between them. a snake wraps around their arms and gingko leaves and clovers surround them.

thank you xarthiel for commissioning me! this is mspaint art of their swordsman with a phoenix over his shoulder, covered in flames, blood and apple blossoms. off to the right a demon with teeth bared.

for heavensword :)) their angel characters in a bright garden, light showering down on the two with lots of flowers and ripples.

💌 4 gba games that i love love love 💌 hamtaro ham ham heartbreak ⁕⁜⁕ atelier marie, elie & anis: soyokaze kara no dengon ⁕⁜⁕ summon night swordcraft story 2 ⁕⁜⁕ kawaii petshop monogatari 3

hamtaro ham ham heartbreak. its the best hamtaro game....
harmony, an angey hamster of pure white, says "well... teehee... give it your best. pitter along now."
i think its a fun adventure game everyone should play.

from Atelier Marie, Elie & Anis: Soyokaze kara no Dengon
Anis and Elie are performing alchemy to make lamp. yata~
this is actually a pretty great entry, you can have any combinations of two of the three alchemists working at a time. they all have their own strengths and weaknesses. i found it very charming and a great way to condense the game for handheld.

from summon night swordcraft story 2.
arno, a summon beast of indeterminate gender, joyously announces "Yes! You're going to forge your womanhood!"
everybody must play these games now. they are so funny and cute. also, playing as a girl affords you the funnier dialogues, in my opinion....take that hammer and FORGE YOUR WOMANHOOD!

from kawaii petshop monogatari 3!!! thats right, theyre are three of them!!!
rommy the dog is with his julie-chan... i forfeit no details other than that... may you be surprised by yourself...
anyhow, these are really excellent games about running a KAWAII petshop. you can catch animals like dogs and cats but also turtles and birds and train them because its an RPG! you can run them in competitions and the like. its a very feature rich game i totally recommend.

that is to say that we often think of pinocchio as a beautiful story about becoming human but it really about how children are lazy miscreants that need to be tormented in order to develop a moral fiber. tezuka actually did a visually disney-esque manga adaptation with the original ending.

The end of osamu tezuka's pinnochio manga where he sticks to the original ending-- the one published in 1881-- where the wooden boy is hung from a tree until dead. it's honestly pretty cruel. yes pinocchio was a little awful clown and this is an old story meant to dish out lessons, but finger wagging in such a fire and brimstone fashion doesnt sit well with me. of course there is cultural context, but i cant help but feel like the current interpretations lean into a much kinder reading.
from the ending of the original publishing, although it is a bit gruesome:
"A tempestuous northerly wind began to blow and roar angrily, and it beat the poor puppet from side to side, making him swing violently, like the clatter of a bell ringing for a wedding. And the swinging gave him atrocious spasms...His breath failed him and he could say no more. He shut his eyes, opened his mouth, stretched his legs, gave a long shudder, and hung stiff and insensible."
not to be cinema sins over here, but if he's made of wood, he would be fine, wouldn't he? they wished to inflict punishment on him somehow.... maybe a fireplace would work better. this was in a children's magazine because that's just how italians rolled back then.

Of course I don't like cruelty for cruelty's sake, but feelings of anger, sadness and discomfort are things that I treasure very much. These unpleasant feelings indicate that something is wrong. They show that your heart is working correctly. To turn away from that with a smile is truly cruel.

"I believe there is meaning in fiction that portrays cruel events. It exists to show that the world is not a beautiful field of flowers, but actually more cruel than we think, where terrible things could happen" Lately, I've been thinking about this kind of thing. I value it a lot.

Apologies, I am not that good at japanese and im certainly not a translator so this is an approximate translation.
私は、残酷な事件を描くフィクションにも意味はあるんだと思っています。この世は美しい花畑ではなく、思ったより残酷で、恐ろしいことが起きうると知るために。

im always a little confused when people say they hate musicals because musicals are fantastic... i think it may be because people are exposed to them through movies and current day movie musicals aren't made in a way that considers its a musical.
