This is insanity. We should be offering assistance to our neighbors. Not threats. I mean... Utah is on fire right now, too. We had the hottest day on record two days ago here. I find their ignorance to be quite terrifying in all regards. But, protecting our planet is right at the top. :(

My last public thought for tonight... If lawsuits don't succeed in shutting down this stupid cage match at THE PEOPLE'S HOUSE I really hope people reject viewing this match on ANY platform. The whole thing is shoddy and corrupt and just plain wrong. Still shocks my brain when I see it... 😨

I had to find my "go-go gadget arms" the other day trying to clean cat yack out of the heater duct. Because, mommy can't run quite fast enough with the sharp, convulsing, furry thing (cat) to get it to the tile floor. 🤷‍♀️

Beautiful Harvest Moon here in Utah this evening. Signs are all around - Mama Earth is readying herself for the long slumber quietly creeping its way towards our little spot on the orb. I love this time of year. The shedding of another season. The anticipation of change. Oh, and.... Samhain. 🤗

Oh boy. Is he. I rescued him and his two siblings off of a mountain when he was 2 weeks old. Mom got carried off by an eagle. I bottle fed them and kept him, thinking "he" was a "she." Lol. He is a mommas boy to his core. Which is awesome because hes heavy AF and wants to always be ON ME.

I hate that I sometimes check my phone in the middle of the night when I'm parched and need water. No. It is not a good time for any of these activities. I should be asleep right now. Not out in my garden with a headlamp. A full moon, MAYBE, but tonight is not that night. Now, back to my pillow. 💤

We have one. A 5 year old (now almost 7) yellow lab. She had been horribly abused. She's still a timid girl and wouldn't fetch a toy if her life depended on it... as she'd much prefer her bed. We adore her. Her name is now Kona.

They are beautiful! I have a Catalpa (Cigar tree) in bloom right now. We love how magnificent she is and how amazing she smells. She'll drop her blooms over the next week, so it's short-lived.

It's the simple things that make me smile. I feed the mallards in my area. They've been returning to my house for years now, although they nest elsewhere. When the chaos of the world seems like it's just too much, I know I can always step outside and connect with Mother Gaia. 🌏

This is how Little Man lets me know he's quite content with the huge amount of canned food he just consumed. He will remain content for approx. 42 minutes, then he'll go to the dry food and eat his huge 2nd dinner. I still believe that Tolkien gave the Hobbits a cat's eating behaviors on purpose.
