#CricketRadio 🎧 Flash Review STAYC’s audio quality is going down. ‘BEBE’ is a diva house track that sounds like it was made in garage band. The main hooks are the same notes blaring and are slightly flat, meaning that even at under 3 minutes the song drags.

#CricketRadio 🎧 Debut Radar Koi Kat, former member of ANS, has made her solo debut with ‘Let it Show,’ an upbeat, classic dance pop track with a strong bass and build up to a fantastic drop into the chorus. There’s a nostalgic quality to this that reminds me of Taeyeon or early Chung Ha.

#CricketRadio 🎧 Flash Review Jisoo is full of surprises. ‘earthquake’ is bassy and fun, and I was happy to hear a Korean release from a BP soloist. The drop is uneventful (a problem since FLOWER),and the song is pretty samey. It’s leagues up from her first release, but still not doing much for me.

#cricketradio 🎧 flash review U_Chae is my favorite soloist right now, delivering us everything from garage to electro house, and now she’s back with pop-rock ‘Red Sun,’ an upbeat and chirpy QWEResque track ahead of her Japanese debut, Prism of Love. open.spotify.com/track/3ortbx...

#CricketRadio 🎧 Debut Review XLOV’s debut opens by evoking RV’s Psycho, a great choice considering their target demo. I’mma Be is best anywhere but its main chorus, where it reaches absurdity in its sing-chanting that can only make me think of the terrible chorus breakdown in Got the Beat’s Outlaw.

#CricketRadio 🎧 Album Review #EthelCain Ethel Cain gets perverted in her second project album ‘Perverts,’ a dark ambient & drone-doom gaze sprawl, which sounds like the vacuous whine of a cell tower in a midwest field, or the looping static of a tv left on. It’s terrifying, visceral and haunting.
