Happy #FensterFreitag These are windows in one of the towers of the Sagrada Familia; taken while walking down one of the spiral staircases (2006). I think it is looking out on the Plaza de Sagrada Familia. #WindowFriday #Barcelona #Spain #SagradaFamilia #Cathedral

vertical/portrait oriented photograph of three tall skinny "windows" that look out on a small park that has trees/palms. The view through the windows is oversaturated because it is so dark inside the tower.
The windows are descending with the spiral staircase, so they are all at different heights and angles. The most prominent one that is at the left of the scene shows the park, the middle one is at a slight angle, so it shows the stone of the tower (one can see part of a construction crane through it). The far right window is at such an angle that one can only see the stone work and a bit of sunshine.

For #FensterFreitag I shared a photo of a stained glass window taken through scaffolding in the Familia Sagrada... This is a much better photo of the scaffolding in contrast with the organic shaped concrete. #FotoMontag #PhotoMonday #Gaudi #Barcelona #Spain #FamiliaSagrada

vertical photo from the interior of the familiar sagrada from when the interior was full of scaffolding.
the scene is famed by the dull grey concrete columns and wall of the cathedral with the center filled with dense orange scaffolding that is illuminated from the side giving yellow highlights to the orange bars
