I just had to give a kid a walkthrough for how to compose a new email in order for them to email their teachers. In an online school. The kid is in high school. Their parents are absolutely failures. God have mercy on this child.

I had a dream last night I found a wonderful man that I didn't act too shy around and could tolerate holding his hand in a public setting. He was so sweet and everything I ever desired for a relationship (never been in one before). Then I woke up, realized it wasn't real, and now I'm sad :'(

Unless I'm dumb and the inflection and tone can *imply* "what the fuck do you want?" from "что ты хочешь?" But idk if it works like that... I feel like the Russian word for "fuck" still needs to be present to truly convey that for the English translation to be accurate

I'm watching two dudes reacting to Heated Rivalry, and I'm 🌟comfused🌟 Not about the gay sex, but the Russian dude answered a phone call and goes, "Что ты хочешь?" And the English captions said "What the fuck do you want?" ??? WHERE WAS "FUCK" IN THAT PHRASE? Isn't that just "What do you want?" ? 😭

I'm so bored at work that I'm reading some fics I've been wanting to read for a while. But then I get self-conscious people think I'm slacking off, so I look for stuff to do. There's no work to do, so I go back to reading. It's a vicious, endless cycle, I'm afraid 😭

It also tells them how much change is due back. But if they don't know the value of each coin, then we're doomed. I mean, you'll get more money out of it, but they have to deal with the natural consequences of not being able to count change correctly 🙃

I helped the elementary teacher at work with some kiddos, and I swear... Two small children have helped secure my child-free status. If they were my children, they would be dropped off at the fire station without a second thought or a look back as I left them there. Holy crap 😭
