Tom Waits - Rain Dogs (1985) Great album if you like Tom Waits and I do. Probably you'd be out of luck otherwise. I listened to this so much back in like 2021 looking at the track listing I would be like "I don't remember that song" and then it would come on and I did remember it.

The Pogues - Rum Sodomy & the Lash (1985) I love how the songs are arranged on this album. They alternate more laid back and really hard and fast and intense and the first song itself presages that. Nearly all bangers too. For some reason my only three punk albums were all in a row here
