Some concept art I got a chance to work on lately for a comic world I’ve had in the works for some time :3 #art

A wide, green field stretches wide, fading into rolling hills and mist. The field is studded with abandoned statues and monuments, half buried in the earth and overgrown with plants and moss— a woman with half of a staff sculpted in chipped bronze whose features are worn away and covered in patina, a horses head and foreleg rearing out of the ground with one hand holding its reins, its metal long gone green and blue. In the foreground sits a three story tall crumbling stone statue of a torso, head half broken off. On its shoulder is perched a small figure in a wide hat, casually sitting and holding a staff with bells tied to its end. In the center of the valley, between statues, rests a large flock of fuzzy white sheeplike creatures with long ears and snuggly snouts. One braces a foot against the closest statue, looking up at its shepherd. Another rests close to us on the hill. In the shadow of the statue, a large, furry, horse-dragon-creature rests curled up. Far in the distant sky, three winged creatures fly by.

Some #conceptart / #creaturedesign from this week— I do love designing a #bioluminescent beastie.

A spread of creature design concepts— one is a massive, bear like creature with hulking shoulders, a ridges spine, long tusks, and a trailing tail. Its tusks are draped with glowing lichen and its coat is spotted with blue glowing moss. The second is a caribou-like creature, mid-run. Its antlers are huge, and have round spaces in the thickest parts, and connect to the nose as well as forehead. The lichen in its antlers and in its coat are similarly glowing. The last is a small alien plant, which looks like the branch of a pine tree growing out of the ground. The ends of each part of the branch are rounded and club-like, and dotted with glowing blue berries nestled between the needles.
