My 7 year old wanted chocolate for breakfast so I had to “yes, and” him and lean on the power of a smiley face 🙂

We had a great time at Colour week last Wednesday at Collage Club 💖 Next week is all about mood and emotion; grab your tickets now! www.creatrixcymraes.com/shop/p/colla...

A collage artwork in shades of yellow and gold with pops of pink, blue, green and red. There is an abstract, geometric fish, a squid, and a hummingbird .

A wavy purple, pink and orange background with a mirror, a hare, and a figure in a helmet holding a toy plane. Green drips have been drawn onto the mirror.

A collage with elements coming off the page in all directions. The colours are autumnal, and the visible elements include fish, an octopus, a rowing boat, and a flock of birds

A collage in orange with blue accents. This piece used lots of elements from a vintage ikea catalogue including a big orange stuffed toy, a patterned rug, and other home wares

So when I say “all materials provided” for Collage Club, what I really mean is…

What does all materials included actually include? Obviously I provide scissors and glue sticks but also…

Today I customised a clipboard to keep my pins and glue dots together while I put up posters, then I found a bunch of brilliant new collage material in a charity shop 💖

A red clipboard with Collage Club posters on it. A roll of glue dots is tied to the clip with a ribbon. In the bottom right corner, there is a small magnet with pins attached

A stack of secondhand coffee table books. From the top the titles are:
Tatt Book: Visionaries of Tattoo
The Impressionists and their art
Exploring architecture: buildings meaning and making
Tapisserie: the art of needlepoint
I Wonder Why Encyclopaedia

I looked forward to collage club every week, from learning new things
to having a sage and encouraging atmosphere!
| 100% recommend

I really enjoyed the balance of guidance but also the ability to do whatever we like and interpret the theme ourselves.

"Thank you - the course was excellent! I love the themes we covered each week and the introductory slides with different examples of collage were always helpful and gave a really useful insight into each theme. The relaxed, creative collage making sessions were so fun and inspiring"
