Iran is in the midst of a full-scale popular revolution. Millions of people are in the streets across the country, openly rejecting the Islamic Republic. In response, the regime is violently suppressing civilians.People are being massacred. As of January 8, 2026, the Iranian regime has imposed a near total communications blackoutnationwide. Internet access, mobile networks, and external connectivity have been deliberately shut down to conceal the scale of the violence. This is not a technical failure. It is a deliberate tactic used by the Islamic Republic during mass arrests and lethal crackdowns. By isolating the population, the regime is attempting to hide its crimes from the world.Despite these efforts, limited information is still emerging. The regime is actively attempting to interfere with Starlink access. A small number of individuals who remain connected have managed to transmit videos and footage. These materials clearly show civilians being attacked and massacred in the streets. materials clearly show civilians being attacked and massacred in the streets. This blackout is not preventing violence. It is hiding it.People inside Iran are being silenced while they are being killed. We urgently call on you to act immediately:Publicly condemn the communications blackout.Demand the immediate restoration of internet and mobile connectivity.Apply diplomatic and political pressure to stop the massacre of civilians. The world must not wait for connectivity to be restored to learn how many people were killed while no one was watching.Silence enables atrocities.Immediate action can save lives.Sincerely,Sarah from Ontario Canada@kushaalagbandphotography @potus @realdonaldtrump @cnn @abcnews @abcnews @foxnews@cbc @cbcnews@washingtonpost @time @people @netanyaho@trumpView all 1,265 comments
