Something I'd VERY much so like to make one day... A Shin Godzilla, but instead it's fantasy and the Tarrasque and the Adventuring party in learning it is futile to fight it in the normal way you might even a Dragon, they must deal with the quick time pressure and mission of complicated solutions

To all my fellow creatives or people who have opinions. #DND #TTRPG #Paladins

I LOVE PALADINS. They're my favorite class by half a country mile because I also love Warlocks. And while conceptually, I love Oaths, they feel like the weakest part of the Paladin because they're treated in such a binary fashion and aren't well utilized because I feel the scope is fairly narrow.

I have come up with the concept of Paladin 'Mantles' to address the role that your Paladin plays. Now I'm fine with the Oaths still being there for spell choice maybe? But the Mantle helps better direction and focus on the 'objectives/ drive' of your Paladin to help evolve them.

-The HARBINGER: Cap, Optimus, Cyclops
The Party Face, Leader
-THE AEGIS: Superman, All Might, Magneto, Thor, Green Lanterns
The Guardian/ Defender from Evil
-THE DESPOT: Omni-man, Dr. Doom, Seto Kaiba, Vegeta, Darksied
The Ideals by Power
-THE JUDGE: Vengeance/ Justice: Batman, Punisher
Fixing the Problems of the World
-THE CRUSADER: Wolverine, Darth Vader, Joker, Jean Grey
The Envoy/ Enforcer/ Champion of a Being of Power/ Influence

This week has been a whole lot of getting sad medical news about the oldest pup in the house. She's 17 years old, it isn't a surprise, just still sad nonetheless. Love your critters a little bit extra and keep routine vet check ups, you never know what you might be able to catch up early.

Barbarians shouldn't be stupid. Rangers should be allowed to express their skills. Fighters should have ranks that make them social. Paladins SHOULD have an actionable oath. Bards shouldn't just be singers.
