I've been let go by Stuff today as one of their weekly cartoonists. I'm incredibly gutted. I've been with the paper for over 8 years. To every person who read, shared, laughed or felt seen by my work. Thank you. You're my people! I won't give up. Just need some time to recalibrate.

We’re on an athletic track 7 adults and two children are on it. 4 adults and one child have been cut off from the track as it's been destroyed. Completely taken away from them. A student, a woman in a wheelchair, a single father with their child, an old dude with his zimmerframe. Blocks of the track fall into the abyss.

To the right a golden figure runs enthusiastically and very happy. Behind them on the ground it says "wealth & sorted".

To the right of the golden man a woman and her child holding a heavy bag walk slowly with the words $50 on the ground behind them. She turns uneasily to look at those stuck by the edge of the cliff.

There's too many politicians decrying that decency, community, ethics and a whole host of other 'woke' words are bad. Yesterday's cartoon showed Winston's response to it. They're showing us who they are when these things don't matter anymore. They do matter. And they always will!
