and its not really just the racists jokes either, ive made and laughed at homophobic jokes, because that was what the other kids were doing and even after i realized i was queer, i was still a kid with no way of learning about queer stuff other than the internet & made some untasteful jokes

ive been thinking about this after a year of moving for uni and just noticing and reflecting on the things ive said in the past and while kid me didnt mean any harm when they laughed along at the stereotypical indian jokes, it was still contributing to the problem
