Sometimes I look at Mikki and think I wish I could be as happy go lucky as she is. She gets so exited while meeting almost anyone. Wagging her tail so hard for someone she doesn't know and even harder for people she barely met once. Being silly and goofy just cause she can. Man I love her 🥰

First walk this morning (4am) I come home, have 2 dead spiders on me and then I look down and notice one alive under my arm... me quietly screaming, " iewww get it off, get it off, get it off. "... Only to realize I have no one to "get it off".. all while mikki stood there and looked at me like 🤷‍♀️

Yesterday we ran into one of mikki's friends and she was so eager to play so I let her... She lasted about 2 minutes, and her energy was done for. She is still not feeling well, sadly, but I'm trying my best to make sure she will get better. It's gonna be a while. 1 step at a time 💜

Well we got a bit of results today. Poor thing has pancreatic inflamation. Coming week we expect the rest of the results. Man I feel so bad for her. She must feel so miserable 😥

Atm she is not happy with me while I'm just so freaking proud of her. She had to have her blood drawn today and she did so freaking well. Now hoping for results that give us clearity and hopefully a solution soon. 🤞💜

Had to go back to the vets today. She got 2 injections and some meds to give her at home. If those don't help enough we might have to get her blood drawn next week. Poor girl with stomach issues and pain. At least no Giardia this time but I feel so bad for her she's not doing well. 😔

She's been hugging the cooler toilet almost the whole day. Despite her cooking mat, the fan, making her feet and belly those are all a no for her.. Toilet and tiles are the only way for her rn. I feel so bad for her. And a bit for myself as wel 🫣 Hydrate lovely people 💜🫠

Getting so fucking humid in my house so waking up early unable to sleep means opening doors in hope it'll cool down a bit.. only 1°C LOL Also me closing everything when it gets hotter outside +3°C within like 2 minutes. Halp 🫠 and also poor Mikki 😔

Finally managed to get myself some actual 'kibbeling'! Proud of myself and mikki too. She got so many smells, people and other things around her and she did great. Now we both are overstimulated and tired af but we got the fish! \o/

1.5 weeks ago, mikki got her stitches out. The next day, mom had back surgery, so I've been helping her a lot while also trying to make sure mikki doesn't lick the wound. So inflatable cone to the rescue. Walking to mom and Back makes mikki have 5 walks a day now, lol. I'm trying my best 🙃💜

suddenly, Mik had to have surgery today in a rush because she was in so much pain from a lump we found a while back and treated for but no results. She is still groggy from the anesthesia and the lump has been completely removed and being sent for testing. And now time to recover, rest, and chill 💜

While we as a family honored my dad's last wish. A close friend of mine took Mikki out on an adventure and made some awesome pictures off her as well. She had such fun that she slept the rest of the day. 🙏 Which made a hard day also a good day. Cause happy Mikki is happy me 🥰 I'm so thankful 🙇‍♂️

Grief fucking sucks and is a pretty lonely thing for some reason. Today was one of the first times I let mikki run free after all that happened and she had fun. I was a bit scared as usual but she did well. Anxiety kicked in hard but seeing her have so much fun and even case bird was nice.
