We are very, very happy that our CRC will start its second funding period in July! We are looking forward to another four years of continued good cooperation and excellent research. A heartfelt thank you to everybody involved for their commitment and their contribution to this success!

Last week two members of our CRC received awards by the Johanna Quandt Young Academy. We are delighted that Dr. Rana Hussein Ali is now a member, and Dr. Yudhajeet Basak is now a fellow of the JQYA. They are joining Prof. Dr. Till Stephan, who was awarded his membership in 2025. Congratulations!

And science needs women." - We are extremely proud that Rana Hussein Ali, an associate member of our CRC, was awarded the L'Oréal UNESCO For Women in Science Prize yesterday night in Düsseldorf. Rana, we are over the moon, congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
