I just wanted to get through the tutorial, now I've been playing dressmaker for 3 hours straight 😂

So, I didn't get an official confirmation but I guess this counts as one?😂 Seems like I will be the sewing judge the at the Solocon cosplay constest on Nov 1st 💜 It will be my first time and I'm already very excited!

I HATE wig styling. So far the process has been 49% sewing, 49% hot glueing and 2% styling. There is hair EVERYWHERE, I burnt myself twice and cut into my finger with the thinning shears. I had no idea they were this sharp 😭😭 also, the wig is only half done 😭😭

Papierkatze @crazytwinklestar.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

the rhinestones turned out fine! I especially love the big heart. And I made some other stuff while I was at it~ Now I can finish Nona's wand, so only the wig remains

Papierkatze @crazytwinklestar.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I ordered a skirt that is really stinking cute but too short for my liking, so instead of sending it back I ordered a second one in the largest size so I can make mine longer (it's on sale rn anyway) 😂 the power of being able to sew

Papierkatze @crazytwinklestar.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Still not feeling very well, but I managed to cast some stuff for two cosplays.

Papierkatze @crazytwinklestar.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

me: i have this extreme headache at this very specific location and can't move my head google: maybe it's nothing and you just have a bad posture, or you're going to have a stroke and die 😊 me: ... I'll take the bad posture, thanks

Papierkatze @crazytwinklestar.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

had to take the centre front and back of the waistline apart, but I'm back on track! Sewing part almost complete~

Amerikanische Touris schaffen es, zu viert acht Plätze zu besetzen. Ohne Gepäck, wohlgemerkt, und reden natürlich in einer Lautstärke. Das alles während Pendelzeiten...

Finished my summer dress and socialised today. Now my shoulder hurts like hell because I was forced to hold a baby for 15 minutes. I hope the pain will be gone tomorrow 😭

My brother gave me his old PS2 and I just remembered it can play DVDs! The resolution of my old TV is really bad, but now I can watch movies while crafting

only the buttons on the sleeves and the hem left until the sewing part is done! The wand needs some paint and the dangly bits, then there's only the wig left. I think I can manage that in 4 weeks

I love fabric covered buttons! They always elevate the quality of a garment.

the plan: wnt to be early (21:30) to be fit for my first day at the new workplace. reality: how about you lie awake for 6 hours and 40 minutes, then wake because of your cat is throwing a tantrum, so you only get 50 minutes of sleep ALL NIGHT

cut all the fabric pieces (except for the facing) for Nona today! oh and I also printed a reference for the wand in its actual size compared to my hand. It's very long for a "small" wand 😅

Meeting with friends and going to the movies on Saturday. What should I wear? (it determines what I can wear to work the days before) - cute little tulle skirt - J-fashion - smexy red burnt velvet dress I've had for years but have never worn -summer dress everything is hot weather approved
