I really had no idea the US could get sooooo fcked up. Or anyone could do THIS bad a job at it. Seriously, he even beat Reagan as far as causing the most damage to the middle class. And Reagan left us with a Wealth tax that started at 70% and ended at 28%. The middle class has paid it since.

Usually the amount required is on the envelope. It's not this year. Nor is it on the website, at least that I can find. Most carriers will pick up and deliver ballots without postage, but I don't know what they've been told to do this year.

This is NOT about postage stamps or their cost. It's about your mail-in ballot being prevented from being delivered. It's about making sure your ballot is counted.

I recv'd my mail-in ballot with a post-it note with how much postage to use...$1.07. I went to the post office and fact-checked the amount, because there had been a recent postage increase. The mail-in ballot requires $1.11 in postage. So I asked the postmaster if the ballots would be returned for insufficient postage and he said "Yes." If voters slapped a couple of stamps on their ballots, they overpaid, but at least their ballot will be received, but for those who process their own postage at home with a 'Click-N-Ship' portal...they've been mis-informed. I honestly don't believe this is incompetence or an oversight.
