I might have been working a bit too hard and feeling a little burned out. I want to complete the update as much as I know you want to see it, but I want it to be good too and there's still a few steps left to do. Hopefully it'll be out soon though!

For my next base model however, I'll try to commission an artist to draw the icons for me. I have an artist in mind, but this is a future project which will take time. I just wanted to share this to give an idea of how to potentially make menu icons if you're unsure how to do them on your own

WiPs of tweaking shaders for making menu icons! Might still make some tweaks, but I like where it's going! I'm gonna take screenshots while posing the model, then select the background to make it transparent afterwards. While I'm a fan of drawn icons, this is also a way to make them! :3 #Lautus-K

Most of the answers to their questions should be obvious, but it seems like their eyes are blurred. They have also not aknowledged the harm gen AI does to the platform and their users yet. One can only hope they'll address that as well.

Yeah, no. I understand keeping "trade secrets" but that doesn't really work that well if we're to fight against what's happening in the world right now. Gen AI and chatbots are all about stealing and then share their collected info freely, and it's not affraid to do so.

Believe me, I wasn't good at this when I first started, it was average at best. I know AI can seem like an easy solution, but it's wrong and it should make you feel bad. I'd rather prefer see you make a bad sketch over AI slop. And if you do it yourself, you got something to be proud of in the end.

Learning from what you see around you have been something every creature have done from the beginning of time, so I understand the conflict. But the problem is that this data is being gathered by big companies without real user consent + for profit. This is why Gen AI is pure theft, nothing more.

Another thing to note: Do you always have to make interesting and groundbreaking "trending" posts? It would be cool if it happened, but don't bet on it. Share the stuff you like and care about, or simply just WiPs, even if it's not "perfect". Share and teach those around you how creativity is done.

Another thing: If I had someone tell me what to speak out about or not, be that a bot or a business person. They'd tell me: "Oh, you probably shouldn't take a stance on that when selling a robot 3D model, someone is gonna take offence." Who cares? If I don't speak out about it, it's not me anymore

It's the future only if you decide it is. It's not even been 5 years yet either since it became good enough to become a global problem. I've seen some pretty cool stuff made out of it too, but it's using data without concent. In most cases it lacks soul and I'd personally rather do without it.
