An experiment with brushed on granular slip and oxide washes. Honestly disappointed with lack of color from the oxides, probably due to the use of red clay. Might try again with a lighter clay. Something new for me. Brushing slip (some with sand) over the exterior of these pots. Used a brush, sponge or reed brush. After bisque firing I'll use a number of different oxide washes on them.
