I don't love the "where's my flying car?" argument. But. Doesn't it seem like Unity ought to have bake zones. Or bake preview. By now?
A few years ago I thought by now I would be inside of my scenes in VR adding objects and behaviors with my virtual hands. So it seems like baking should be better.
