Let the closure of Bank in February motivate you to do crazy things in these games you never considered doing before, or carefully curate which treasured Pokemon you want to send up to HOME for the future. Don't let it become a massive panic where you feel like all will be lost forever.

2025: Pretty bleak year for the world in general terms, but I can't even remotely complain on a personal level as my year's been generally pretty fantastic! New, satisfying job, getting back into competing, flying to the other side of the world with my girlfriend - all truly delightful things ❤️

And with that, Legends Z-A is finished!! Ended on a rather sour note, unfortunate since some of the decisions made in the DLC were truly baffling, infuriating, & very poorly executed, but overall enjoyed my time with it far more than not! Definitely prefer it to Legends Arceus

Mega Dimension is sapping away a lot of the goodwill I have for Legends Z-A, it exacerbates all of my least favourite parts of the game & there's been at least 3 times where I've experienced something & thought it was one of the worst most baffling design decisions in all of Pokemon

New best Death Battle episode of all time just dropped Not had the best 24 hours due to the events of last night, but this had me grinning ear to ear from start to finish, genuinely phenomenal work. Cannot believe they topped Bowser VS Eggman in the same season! www.youtube.com/watch?v=kb8N...

5th/67 at Den of Dragons! Fairly standard bracket, not especially happy with my play overall, bits of good gameplay here & there, but am being stonewalled by people levels above me, & the catastrophic journey to accom going home from the social ruined things a bit from me, limping a lot now.

Haven't felt like ending it all this badly after a short shift since.. ever really, today is the turning point where everything needs to improve. Need to stop letting a shit day or series of shit days tank everything & everyone around me, & curb my selfishness for once in my god damn life already

100%ed DK Bananza 🥳🍌 Fantastic game, exactly what DK needed as a franchise and what I needed as a stressed wagie coming home after a long day at work Prefer this over Mario Odyssey in all honesty!!

Don't think I've ever had to take anxiety medication before until now, actually what the hell is wrong with me & why isn't this perpetual sensation of dread disappearing..

000

NUTLORD (crashandcortex) @crashandcortex.bsky.social · 29/08/2025

Thought a good night's sleep would quell the demons within, woke up again with the same lingering stench of anxiousness & hollowness topped off by a bubbling irritability, not sure I'll be getting better anytime soon with the full day shift to power through

010

NUTLORD (crashandcortex) @crashandcortex.bsky.social · 28/08/2025

feels like everything creates anxiety of some sort within me the past few months, worrying about how I might ruin important events/arrangements, how things could go wrong due to outside factors, how I won't measure up to expectations, the inevitability of my own deterioration. I feel deeply broken

000

NUTLORD (crashandcortex) @crashandcortex.bsky.social · 28/08/2025

sometimes the urge to disappear & not have to live through everything you know rapidly deteriorating in real time while you're powerless to stop any of it seems disturbingly comforting

021

NUTLORD (crashandcortex) @crashandcortex.bsky.social · 28/08/2025

Every day feels more & more difficult to make it through & see the upsides. I feel distinctly agitated, exhausted, & continually anxious about the utter bleakness of this planet. Finding it harder to see any kind of positive future with each passing day, need to break free from this sickness.

Really happy seeing @pmstudios.bsky.social giving Yooka Re-Playlee a physical release on Switch 2. The way it should be. Can't wait to test more Switch 2 physicals. Pre-order live at these ref links: VGP: videogamesplus.ca/uy... PnP: pnpgamesonline.com/?...

Finally some good fucking news Expect it to take a year or maybe a couple of years for this to really make a dent in 3rd party's overuse of game-key cards, but more full physical releases for Switch 2 can only be a good thing

I was never really a particularly mentally stable individual, but this may the evidence needed to admit me into the asylum for good 101% Donkey Kong 64 🥳🥳🍌🦍

030

NUTLORD (crashandcortex) @crashandcortex.bsky.social · 24/07/2025

Dealing with the rabbit race in Fungi Forest , the beetle race in Crystal Caves & now Beaver Bother in Creepy Castle all in the same day, I am straight up NOT having a good time & I'm convinced parts of the 2nd half of Donkey Kong 64 weren't playtested

010

NUTLORD (crashandcortex) @crashandcortex.bsky.social · 24/07/2025

Playing through Fungi Forest regularly & have already ran into 4-5 incredibly stupid & frustrating cases of "why would you even think to design it like this" Biggest culprit is the rabbit race you do with Lanky depleting your Coconuts & forcing you to replenish when other challenges don't do this

010

NUTLORD (crashandcortex) @crashandcortex.bsky.social · 24/07/2025

Playing through DK64 after finding my old N64 cartridges from when I was a kid - it breaks my heart into tiny pieces to admit this, but this game might just be some hot unpolished ass 😢😢

NUTLORD (crashandcortex) @crashandcortex.bsky.social · 15/07/2025

some people are just utterly incapable of introspection & learning lessons after catastrophic losses which are their own fault, actually so frustrating

And that was Super Mario 3D World!! Absolutely crazy game packed with a ridiculous amount of content & hidden levels - thought I was done 3 times only for another whole new world to unlock! Left Champion Road, Mystery House Marathon & Toad's Fiery Finale to the side - for now...

Playing through Super Mario 3D World for the 1st time blind yesterday after having owned it since 2015, this game is incredible I'm such an imbecile for having not played it until now

NUTLORD (crashandcortex) @crashandcortex.bsky.social · 09/06/2025

Bit goofy when everybody else is on Switch 2, but played through Mario 64 for the first time! Never saw the appeal for a long time, but playing through, especially the later levels, I totally get it now! VERY janky, but one of the most important games ever & still really satisfying to play! ❤

030

NUTLORD (crashandcortex) @crashandcortex.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

Constantly going back and forth on whether to get a Switch 2 at launch, wait for DK Bananza, or get it in winter when I know more of what we're getting year 1 Bananza not being a launch title seems so bizarre, hoping that not launching with a big 1st party single player game doesn't hurt Switch 2

120

NUTLORD (crashandcortex) @crashandcortex.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

Absolutely insane that Druckmann would share this 😭 Never been invested in The Last of Us & think it's the antithesis of everything I enjoy in games, but it says something when his own lead actor thinks he's botching his own work in the TV format he clearly always wanted it to be.
