2XKO is a good game and is heading toward a healthy end-state. It was and is made by passionate people who love fighting games. The atmosphere surrounding this game is a case study in brand baggage and (bad) expectation management. But it's almost entirely divorced from what the game actually is.

i still enjoy playing 2XKO and unpopular opinion, but i actually think this is the most respectful way i've seen a dev cycle end for a game not only are they refunding people's money, they're also making all content free and keeping servers up indefinitely so new people can keep playing

I think I was enlightened yesterday. I finally understand how to use the training mode in a fighting game for something else than just learning a combo😅 My training also paid off immediately in the next match. Felt pretty good not gonna lie

My Tokon experience was marked by loving the characters and the game, but also pressing the assist button only for nothing to come out. I think it narrowed the availability of assist to make defense more manageable, but it means you have to hit assist right when you're also buffering a special

My brothers want to do a Sifu challenge and I came up with these rules: Score for each stage: Raw level score, + Fastest Clear 1st/2nd/3rd = 20,000 / 10,000 / 5,000, + Mercy Boss = 5,000 Score upon completion: Youngest Age 1st/2nd/3rd = 25,000 / 15,000 / 10,000, + Full Pacifist = 15,000
