I post way less now & I’ve managed to keep snarky posts in drafts. I tell my kid every day “try to give positive energy there’s already too much negative energy” this is usually related to sharing toys but it also applies online. The social media companies are monsters, but we don’t have to be.

Social media is for sure a bummer now for so many reasons. Deleting my Twitter account was such a huge help to my mental health. I’m still really bummed to have lost connections with so many awesome people but I was in a state of burnout beyond repair and quitting cold turkey helped.

Having a kid is funny because they pick up your mannerisms and all you can really do is watch in horror as another more cartoony version of you exists. The parental experience is basically the plot to Gremlins.

Absolutely incredible weekend at PAX even tho it was short. I started the year not able to walk doing physical therapy and hanging out in MRI machines, I honestly didn’t think I’d make it back to a show anytime soon. It was also amazing to be doing adaptive gaming stuff again after a few years.

If you’re looking for a lighter controller with good joysticks this is a solid controller for playing on PC. The remappable buttons are on the top of the controller which is helpful if you’re coordinated like me and can’t really use buttons on the back of Xbox Elite / DualSense Edge controllers.

I feel like I would use Bluesky more but for some reason my algorithm just shows me posts from people who recently lost their pets. Like I don’t see cool things, I just get sad stuff from nice people I don’t know about their sadness and then I get bummed out.
