Giving a lightning talk tomorrow at #SFTechWeek on why the trust model under your AI workloads is broken — at every layer. Containers. Decentralized compute. Silicon. "Whose GPU is this, anyway?" Oct 6 · 2pm · Apollo Innovation Commons #OpenSourceSF #SovereignAI

What I say: DC3 is a provider-agnostic, decentralized infrastructure-as-a-service platform orchestrated by a purpose-built Cosmos SDK blockchain. What I think my wife hears: We're building an Airbnb for computers, and nobody can go through your stuff or setup hidden camera's.

What's the most frustrating thing about your cloud provider? Pricing surprises, vendor lock-in, security complexity, multi-cloud headaches, or something else? No wrong answers — we're building DC3 to solve these problems and want to make sure we're solving the right ones.

What I say — Every container runs in a kernel sandbox that intercepts all system calls before they reach the host os. What I think my wife hears — We put each person’s stuff in their own locked room, not even the building manager has a key. #depin #web3 #iaas #zerotrust #cloud

The irony of Web3: 80% of decentralized applications run on centralized infrastructure. DeFi protocols on AWS. NFT platforms on Google Cloud. DAOs with governance frontends on Vercel. We're building DC3 to fix this. #depin #web3 #iaas #zerotrust #cloud

Most DePIN tokens are volatile. Resource pricing swings with the market. This is the fundamental barrier to enterprise adoption. Here’s how DC3 solves it. 🧵 #depin #web3 #iaas #zerotrust #cloud

ELI5: What does ‘zero-trust’ actually mean? I keep seeing this term thrown around. Let me explain it like you’re five. 🧵 #depin #web3 #iaas #zerotrust #cloud

The cloud industry is $133 billion. It’s grown 327% in the last decade. And it’s controlled by three companies. Here’s why that’s about to change. 🧵 #depin #web3 #iaas #zerotrust #cloud

Computing goes through 20-year cycles of centralization and decentralization. 1960-1980: Mainframes (centralized) 1980-2000: Desktops (decentralized) 2000-2020: Cloud (centralized) We’re entering the next cycle. 🧵

There are 5 major decentralized compute projects. I’ve studied all of them. Here’s an honest breakdown of how DC3 compares — and where we think the market is going. 🧵

At Roblox, I learned what breaks at scale. Every lesson is baked into DC3’s architecture. Here are the five that matter most. 🧵

Most DePIN tokens are volatile. Your compute costs change daily based on token price. DC3 took a different approach: a stable token pegged to USDC. Here’s why this matters for operators and consumers. 🧵

Let me walk you through how DC3’s network actually works under the hood. This is the architecture that makes zero-trust, multi-cloud, decentralized compute possible. 🧵

Here’s an uncomfortable truth about Web3: Over 80% of “decentralized” applications run their backends on AWS, GCP, or Azure. Your favorite DeFi protocol? Its API server is probably in us-east-1. Let’s talk about why this matters. 🧵

Every decentralized compute project has a dirty secret: They all require you to trust the node operator. Your code, your data, your secrets — the person running the hardware can see all of it. Here’s why that’s a dealbreaker, and how DC3 solves it. 🧵

I scaled Roblox’s infrastructure from a few servers to 40M daily active users and IPO. Along the way, I learned some things that changed how I think about cloud computing forever. Here’s why I left to build DC3. 🧵
