Is bravely default 2 any good? I haven’t played the series since the first; which I enjoyed but never beat

Idk if I’m just losing my tolerance for lack luster side quest design, but it’s been a major sore point for me in most RPGs I’ve played lately. I’ve been learning to fight against the need to complete the optional content because all it’s done lately is spoil the overall experience of the games

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 06/07/2025

I liked Squid Game s3, especially the last couple episodes. But my personally ranking is def 2>1>3

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 30/06/2025

I needed a walkthrough my first playthrough of LM, then after that I was hooked.

Fun Craig Fact: I don’t replay games super often, but the when I was a kid I beat Luigi’s mansion at least 100 times, and in high school I beat Fable 3 probably the same amount of times, lol

Y’all, RPGs that make you leave the extra party members behind at camp/base/whatever stress me TF OUT

000

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 19/06/2025

Y’all seeing that new Donkey Kong game?

000

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 18/06/2025

Whenever I replay older FF games with the ATB (even 9, lol) it really strikes me how much I prefer a true turn based combat system over it. Not that it’s bad really, I just don’t think it lands for me the way it’s intended

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 18/06/2025

Sometimes I’m seeing your posts regularly, and other times I feel like I go days. So I feel the struggle

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 13/06/2025

Dok I always know you got my back 🤝

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 13/06/2025

This is an official Craig Rec Request: I have some extra free time this weekend and tbh I’m itching for some stories that embody hope, and overcoming the odds no matter what. Idc if it’s comics, movies, tv, or games, just really itching to feed myself with excess hope

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 12/06/2025

Something about a Sega Dreamcast and the color blue

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 11/06/2025

Y’all, it’s hot outside

000

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 11/06/2025

Started Smallville last night because I’m pretty pumped for the new Superman movie. Only watched the pilot. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, from super cheesy to endearing, having a good time so far

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 11/06/2025

Yes! I’ll admit I sleep far better in the winter, but having way more sun during the day balances that out. It’s been hecticly busy but in a good way ☺️

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 09/06/2025

How is everyone's summer going? Sometimes i get so caught up in day-to-day living that I don't properly observe the passage of time 😅

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 07/06/2025

"Shit it's Roger isn't it? It's going to be Roger."

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 07/06/2025

Riiiight... Mr "Mueller" *wink wink*

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 07/06/2025

Y'all ever have a weekend that just could not come fast enough?

000

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

Bought Skies of Arcadia for my gamecube the other day, and im so pumped to dive in after I finished Trails to Azure. Got the GameCube and my ol' 13" Sylvania on standby

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 02/06/2025

It's actually a pretty not-monday feeling monday today

I see some characters are getting upgraded to the "custom avatar package"

I've interacted with far too much Trails content on my socials lately. It's getting dangerous in the spoiler field rn.

000

After that prologue I am unbelievably locked in for #trailstoazure

000

The hype is off the charts

Great games for a great price

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 31/05/2025

Im an absolute sucker for the end of a Trails game when each character makes a surprise appearance saving the day. Absolute cinema every time

000

Just accidentally closed out an app I didnt meant to. I'll never recover from this

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 29/05/2025

This goes unreasonably hard

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 27/05/2025

Let's share our favorite game of all time! This is so hard to answer, and honestly the answer could change if you asked me tomorrow. But the sense of nostalgia, mixed with the grandiose macabre world. Equal parts frustrating and awe inspiring. And a game thats too easy to revisit

000

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 27/05/2025

Ah crap, of all time? I'm going to have to dig deep for this one

000

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 25/05/2025

20 hours in and the Crossbell Crew isn't as dynamic as the Sky cast. I'm still enjoying them a lot, but it's definitely noticeable

000

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 25/05/2025

This shit had me rolling, lol

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 24/05/2025

He is consistently dropling comedy gold. Im on chapter 2 and I know there is *more* to home, but i don't know the details YET. Just met with Garcia, waiting to find out more 👀

Craig @craigtalks.bsky.social · 24/05/2025

#trailsfromzero I deeply miss my Sky cast, but im really vibing with the new crew, too. Randy cracks me tf up constantly

Sometimes it's so hard to even get down 20 words. Despite the sleep deprivation im glad you got some quality writing in

Ohoohoh and any cutscene from FF9 that involved a summon. Absolutely MINDBLOWING cinematics

The end of the prologue of The Last of Us. I knew NOTHING about the game when I first played it. I remember i had some friends over that night and all of us stared at the TV in stunned silence
