My goofy, members only, twitter-but-better-and-exactly-what-I-want social network, The Good Place, is quickly growing into my favorite place to post / peek at online. Available to members on members.specialprojects.jp

i built a "2009 twitter crossed with irc vibes" members-only social network for SPECIAL PROJECTS folks called The Good Place … and it's kind of fun and sweet? discord, but if it wasn't a warship? a feed, but you can only post max 5x a day (replies 10x), and everything disappears in a week?

Turns out Mieko Kawakami is an old school blogger — you can find her archives going back to 2003. We were on a panel last night in Tokyo for @wordpress.org talking about publishing online / open source publishing, and physical books.

Love this (exceedingly rare) Taisho-era home (the Arai Home) in the middle of Tokyo, just around the corner from where MIshima committed ritual suicide in 1970, between Yotsuya San-chome heading towards Kagurazaka: #photosky #photography #tokyo #japan
