I haven’t laughed like that in a very long time. Two Doors Down tonight and Waitress earlier in the week were exactly what I needed right now ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

1 - THE WAY OF THE WARRIOR “The only people who can really handle the Klingons... are Klingons” This soft reboot is my all time favourite Trek episode. It has everything. Action, drama, comedy and DS9 unleashed in one of the greatest space battle sequences

2 - ALL GOOD THINGS “The sky’s the limit” A series finale that’s never been bettered. A love letter to TNG across 3 time periods. An ingenious way to pay homage to where the crew have been and show us where they may have ended up

One of the most famous poker games of all time

3 - SUPERNOVA "You got this far. Wherever you are, don't give up now It’s that good. Any doubts that Prodigy wasn’t more than a kids show were well and truly wiped out by this stellar season 1 finale. Great Star Trek on a grand scale

The Protostar enters the battle among the corrupted ships

4 - PICARD S3 “A lot’s happened in the last 20 years” The send-off the TNG crew deserved. Fan service is not a dirty word and this is a true love letter to these characters and the wider franchise with some career best performances on show

Picard S3 cast on the bridge of the rebuilt Enterprise-D

5 - SCORPION / THE GIFT "What if I made an appeal… to the Devil?" What happens when you have to work with your worst enemies? Peak Voyager as the show gets a soft reboot with the departure of the extremely underrated Kes and the introduction of Seven.

Star Trek: Holo-ween #1 (Segura / Rosenlund / Jordan / Eckleberry) A spooky season DS9 murder mystery. Colour me intrigued ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Can’t believe I only have 10 episodic #Treku left to share. But I’m not enrolling in #StarfleetAcademy just yet. Up first is another miniseries this time focusing on the main species from Trek

Doctor Who: Spoilers

020

6 - IN A MIRROR, DARKLY "You're confusing our universe with someone else's!" A beautifully realised Mirror Universe story and setting it there entirely is ingenious. The Defiant!!! The alternate credits, the ship design and even Porthos gets a makeover

141

7 - REDEMPTION / WORF’S DISCOMMENDATION "We cannot regain our honor by acting dishonorably!" The arc from Sins of the Father to Redemption is one of TNG’s finest. It defines Worf and also gave us Sela, the Duras sisters (and the Klingon boob window😂) and really solidifies Worf and Picard’s bond

140

8 - THE WRATH OF KHAN / THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK / THE VOYAGE HOME "How we deal with death is at least as important as how we deal with life” The run of these 3 movies that have transcended the franchise is near perfect. All telling one over-arching story about loss and coming home.

110

9 - THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS / FAMILY "You don't know, Robert, you don't know. They took everything I was” Eps that are still reverberating through Trek now. The resolution of Pt 2 keeps this from going any higher but that’s minor. A stunning trilogy and the only correct way to watch these.

10 - PAST TENSE "You ever hear of the Bell Riots?" One of the best social commentary episodes of the franchise and a powerful statement. Bashir’s line about people having forgotten how to care is sadly becoming more prescient by the day

A screen displaying time, temperature snd date

TOMORROW’S ENTERPRISE Glimpse of a future Uhura restores timeline With help from herself #Treku #StarTrek #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds

Seems like sound advice. He’d probably just replicate the cake or use sub-par ingredients to maximise profit 😂 #StarTrek #TheGreatBritishBakeOff #GBBO

050

11 - IMPROBABLE CAUSE / THE DIE IS CAST "Home, I want to go home!" The Obsidian Order and Tal Shiar’s attempted attack on the Founders takes a back seat to what is effectively a two-handed with Odo and Garak. Auberjonois and Robinson at the top of their game

12 - CARETAKER “This is a fine crew, and I’m gonna get them home” My favourite Trek pilot for my favourite series. The perfect introduction to the crew with action, drama and a killer score

270

13 - DOMINION OCCUPATION “You want to be gods? Then BE gods! I need a miracle” The opening 6 eps of S6 were a big narrative swing and are among the best of DS9. So many threads tied together culminating in a battle for the soul of the Alpha Quadrant

14 - THE DEVOURER OF ALL THINGS "Want my ship? You go through me” A well-deserved redemption for Wesley Crusher as he’s revealed as the kids mysterious benefactor. Add Janeway in a grey vest for peak Prodigy

15 - ANDORIAN TRILOGY "Vulcans have a saying. One man can summon the future” My favourite mini-arc of S4 as the birth of the Federation approaches. A genius use of the Romulans at their conniving best and some of the series best Archer and Shran content

This one’s gonna stay with me for a while One of the most emotional experiences I’ve ever had in a theatre. Lucie Jones was absolutely incredible #Waitress

Really enjoyed the new run of #TheCentreSeat - great background on the #StarTrek movies (Generations in particular) and moving forward I will only view documentaries with voiceover from Gates McFadden (season 3 of #investiGates when? 🙏

❤️ A couple more picks coming that fall squarely into ‘if this is not how you consume these stories you’re doing it wrong’ 🤭

010

16 - EMISSARY “Then why do you exist here?” Right out of the gate DS9 is bold and inventive. A more cerebral pilot but emotionally powerful dealing with the effects of grief and bringing politics and religion to the fore

Sisko and Picard in the Enterprise-D briefing room

140

17 - THE KILLING GAME "You wanted a war? It looks like you've got one” A genius twist on a classic Trek trope. I love the Hirogen. The production values are top-tier and Kate Mulgrew should only ever appear in a white suit

18 - IN PURGATORY’S SHADOW / BY INFERNO’S LIGHT "There is no greater enemy than one's own fears” The cliffhanger alone as the Dominion fleet enters the Alpha Quadrant puts this one high on my list but there’s so much more to love with many big reveals and powerful moments

19 - DISCO S5 "Last time, then. Let's fly” We were promised a proper adventure for the final season and boy did they deliver. An unexpected sequel to a TNG gem and a terrific finale at short notice

350

20 - YEAR OF HELL “Time’s UP” I don’t love ‘it never happened’ eps or this would rank higher. But it has great visuals, a fantastic villain and an iconic line delivery as Janeway takes out the Krenim ship
