Part 3 of making a rainbow 🌈 colored jelly roll rug. This is the longest part to making a rug, since there’s so much stop and go. Love seeing it zip through the machine this fast, it means I’m almost done! #smallbusiness #sewist #jellyrollrug #queerartist

Cutting corners! Something I’m usually against, but in sewing, sometimes it must be done. I’m onto the next step in creating a jelly roll rug - cutting off the excess fabric after sewing the strips together. #smallbusinessowner #sewist #queersewist #rainbow

Along with the bigger Hemingway Pouch, I made a little one! This was made from the triangle that’s cut to make the larger one. 2 for 1 deal! This size would be great for corralling cords, a makeup pouch, or perhaps collecting shells in. So many possibilities. #quilter #smallbusinessowner

The loon is ✨done✨! The finished size with the border is 14”x14”. I added farbic to the back ao it can be hung up. Learned a lot on this piece, and also a couple of spot that the pattern color was off (will be addressed in future iterations). Pattern design: Quilt by Night

Stormy Seas - the newest rug, hot off the machine The colors on this one are gorgeous! The teals look like the various shades of the sea as it glints in the sunlight when an afternoon storm starts gliding in. For a reference in the 3rd pic - how much thread went into the rug.
