I have been awake for 14 hours. I have been jostled about on planes. I have airplane ear. I’ve been in lounges and cars when I’ve not been in a plane. All I’ve eaten are whatever you get in service on a plane. I’m tired. I’m hungry. I appreciate business travel is a privilege but I hate it.

So done with flying this year. Please don’t make me do it again until 2027. My ear hurts. I see my suitcase more than my husband. I’m beginning to recognise cabin crew.

The worst part about dining by yourself when you’re on a weekend away (also by yourself…) is that you can’t ask the waiting staff to just leave the bottle of wine at dinner. I’ll just have to keep asking glass per glass so I don’t look like an alcoholic 🫠

Poland seems nice but, like the Czech Republic, feels like I’ve stepped into a fantasy land. Different currency, different language, non-Latin alphabet characters. I only know hello and thank you in Polish. I hope they don’t hate me for needing to speak English sometimes.

Our flight arrived 15 minutes early (apparently this can still happen?!) and now I can enjoy a more leisurely walk to the lounge which is right beside my gate. Wonderful.

Threats with a weapon, criminal damage, common assault (potentially ABH), even to some extent attempted murder could all be argued here by a competent barrister.

“Fast-Track system” to revoke citizenship should send a chill down any person’s back. It shouldn’t be easy or expeditious to remove citizenship. If they have the power to do it to nationalised citizens, they can do it to all citizens.

I think with how popular Reform is, the EU would be well advised to stay far away from offering the UK anything.

I’d “symbolically” remove access to social security, the NHS, education, public order support etc from that village that “symbolically” decided to secede from the UK, if I were in government. But I’m petty. Which is why I don’t run any country.
