Being treated "well" by police wouldn't be the metric to understand the relationship of police to the people with. If a slave does everything they're told without question or hesitation, they probably wouldn't get whipped by the slavers. Police exist to protect capital interests, not protect us.

Globally, this means that any nation which bucks this goal (i.e. China) is an immediate threat to the goal because countries like China are *required* to follow or the whole thing fails; China (and similar nations) become a lightning rod for "how to do things without hurting the population".

The world's debt is over $300T. But there really isn't that much value, so that means they have to deflate the debt by putting 100% of it on the us. (The capitalists will never accept giving up anything to stop this.) So by crashing everything, it moves all remaining wealth upwards.

I think what is happening is far more sinister and malicious: I think we're seeing the controlled demolition of the entire world economy. It seems out of control to us, because it's the bottom 99% which get to bear the burden of the entire collapse. But controlled so that the rich remain so.
