Back hurts from hauling luggage 🧳 and that better not mess up our hiking 🏔️ on Saturday.

I was hopping back and forth getting the temp right because you don’t know if it is just right until you are actually under the water.

Who thought putting shower controls on opposite wall was a good idea? I cannot be the only person who continually adjusts the water temp because I like really hot then not so hot then hot again etc. It was a guy who thought this up, right? Can’t imagine a woman doing this.

White shower with shower head on one wall and shower controls on opposite wall.

On the other hand, I’m trying to drag my stuff on foot to the hotel and all the roads are closed on the streets. I need to go on so I’m going way out of my way walking with an 88-year-old and luggage.

Sitting in Pioneer Square waiting for a max train. Why is everyone talking trash about Portland? I love it here. #PDX

Neighborhood streets in KS are much more narrow than here. I don’t understand why you would want to waste so much land for this.

Never heard of that. I read all of them and looked at endorsements. Discuss with spouse. Lots of work.

Our ballots came and we will be dropping them at the drop box today before heading out on vacation tomorrow. What a lot of reading to do for this one. #voteCA #vote2026

Riding a bike to high school became a big trend in 1969 after the first Earth Day. It was tricky because we girls still had to wear dresses to school so we had to put shorts on under the dresses. But you are right. Felt totally safe riding all over Oxnard on a bike back then

Do you ever see the guy who takes his two kids to school on a tandem with trailer cycle bike attached? Second kid used to ride in the trailer. They always make me smile.

I thought I saw someone improvise one of these with a scooter. They were getting on and off the trolley. But maybe I was wrong and it was something like this.

This is awful. I am a boomer. Total freedom! Mom didn’t drive so was on my own to get to school or anywhere from age 8 on up. My kids (Gen X and millennial) were similar when we lived in a small town, less so in the city but they still left the neighborhood by middle school.

Holed up in the condo — even brought in some balcony plants because I was afraid they would fry. We tried taking an afternoon walk thinking “we used to walk home from work in KS” bwahahaha that was a mistake.

All the time, even outdoors. I am so used to it as are all the people who know us. Someone says this will foil the Flock facial ID when I add sunglasses. I hope this is correct.

Did they change the Blue Line trolley schedule so all the trolleys go to UTC? Darn I always try to avoid those because they are crowded. Way to eff everything up SDMTS.

This was definitely in the rotation in the old days feeding 3 kids on $50 a week. Inflation calculator says that would be $126 a week today. Is that enough now? $50 did not go far back in 1990.

This wedding couple, stranded on an island b4 guests could arrive, so they invite the whole island to the nuptials. To pay them back for the kindness, the couple started a gofundme to get this community some sidewalks! This is the kind of thing I can get behind. gofund.me/c0d2450e3
