In those few genAI job situations, they’ve been very indie and I cut them a little slack because I support indie. But I have to spend extra time and effort to essentially recreate the wheel, and it’s not creatively enjoyable, but tedious.

genAI reference gives you very little wiggle room, to where I wonder, why hire an artist at all? You already have what you want to see generated for you. Do you want me to just recreate it for you to smokescreen from the backlash?
