@nokturnalmisfit.bsky.social and I went to Round 1 for @friedcassowary.bsky.social's birthday. Came home with some sweet winnings.

Onimusha is insane so far. Best modern day addition to an old school series I think I've ever played. And who tf made these facial expressions? They're unreal.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is awesome. Playing it next to my favorite human in existence? Awesomer.

I am, what you might call, the happiest person in existence 😌

Why did no one tell me Warframe is actually a super messed up horror game?

In just a few days, I get to welcome my partner home and my life changes for the better, forever. I'm shaking with excitement.

Watching @nokturnalmisfit.bsky.social play Black Flag Resynced, and it just makes me miss Prince of Persia. I can't believe that series died for this one 😭

A graph of how amazing Endwalker has been so far. Just give me the damn status report, Meteion!

280

Captain Casey @cptcasey.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

Friends! I'm still alive! But also I finished Shadowbringers last night (5.0, at least) and wowee. And Endwalker is supposedly even better? I might actually get caught up this time around. Especially with @nokturnalmisfit.bsky.social cheering me on.

Gentle reminder that Xenoblade Genesis

Captain Casey @cptcasey.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

I've never woken up to SO MANY Xenoblade related notifications on my phone. Bluesky, news articles, youtube videos, my phone was exploding and I couldn't be happier. Looks like there's lots of other good news BUT GUYS, XENOBLADE!

Finished Edgerunners for the third time last night. Rebecca still didn't deserve all that.

Imagine your final content update being fixes to all the things players complained about for some time now. Maybe if they fixed all of this well before now, it wouldn't be coming to an end 🤷

You ever meet someone who makes you genuinely happy? Someone who makes you forget the rest of the world exists when you're together? Someone who inspires you to be the best you can be? Someone who can make you forget social media exists? (sorry for that one, friends 😅). I have. It's unreal.

First day at the new job and the only thing I've done is talk to my old manager (who is my manager again, yay!). Mostly about work, but also complaining about AI 😂

Just shipped back my work computer. Once I get my severance check, I'll never have to think about them again. Hopefully the job I've been working on comes through and turns that check into a bonus.

I've seen many rounds of layoffs in my industry, and my own job. Today, my turn finally came. 2 months short of 10 years. Big oof.

Maybe we wouldn't be seeing this so much if these companies weren't ALSO using AI for the quality control process. These "placeholder" art incidents are only what we see. Companies are using AI for far more than that, I promise. Not that I expected less from Pearl Abyss 😂

This was incredibly unexpected. I looked for every possible excuse, but the evidence is overwhelming. Then she deactivated immediately, without responding to anyone. That screams guilt, to me. I personally don't care anymore. I've moved on. I'm in a good place. But I think people need to know.

idk if I'm just extra emotional lately or what, but the first 2 episodes of OPLA season 2 have had me crying multiple times. The cast is so good. And they keep sneak peaking things that shouldn't be shown yet. I gotta not watch this during work or I'm not getting anything done.

I have the most useless IT that's ever existed. And I know this because I ran that department prior to moving to where I am now. I am so sick of still doing their job.

Meeting starts: "Hey everyone, we're gonna talk about this new AI integration and the Jira admins (me) are here to explain how this works." ...how what works? I don't know why I'm here or what this is.
