I didn't say he cared - I said he's awful at it. I don't doubt he was trying to scare people either. I'm just saying he wasn't suggesting that Iran should nuke anything. Let's just focus on the 100,000 clear and unequivocal malicious things he says every day and not on this, which he wasn't saying.

I agree with Tom. Trump is bad and malign but here he's just demonstrating that he's the absolute worst public speaker in the history of the United States when it comes to clear communication. People would do well to focus on the 100,000 things he's clearly doing and not the 1 thing he's not doing.

Seems to me to be a clear case of coding and how framing changes the results. Asking "Are you worried about climate change?" is quickly read as a "state your team" question. Do you favor "planting lots of trees" or "restrictions to lower carbon emissions" are not as clearly read as "state you team".
