Work was not very fun in September which led to a slow reading month. I loved the DCC series and I'm sad to be done for now but looking forward to some spooky fall books. #booksky

September book log for September from StoryGraph. It shows that I read 3 books, 2,391 pages, with an average rating of 4.25 stars.

This book was a fun start to my spooky TBR. I really enjoyed the vultures, bugs, and archaeology, along with the spooky haunted house vibes. 3.75/5 🌟’s #booksky

I was reading this book while lying across the bed with my feet hanging over the edge, and the book got so spooky I had to pull my feet back onto the bed so nothing under the bed could grab them!

I’ve been reading the Dungeon Crawler Carl series since mid-July. I finished just in time to start my fall/spooky reads but it’s really hard to leave Carl & Donut after 2.5 months. A little T. Kingfisher will help me switch gears. P.S. No publication date for DCC book 9 😭 #booksky

We went out to Point Reyes National Seashore yesterday so I could touch grass. We saw 3 humpback breaches, some tail slapping, Killdeer, Tule Elk, and the usual pelicans, seagulls, and terns. We stopped for lunch at our favorite little deli and had a picnic. It was a pretty nice little Saturday.

Hahaha, at least one of the booksellers at my local store has a great sense of humor. I still love The Name of the Wind, but what is in the chest, and why did he kill the king?!?! Will Patrick Rothfuss ever tell us? I’m leaning towards no 😂😭. #booksky
