I'm not going to lie, The Witcher 3 Remaster is borderline unplayable on the new combat settings. I'm getting hit by a shrieker because Geralt handles like shit. Flip back to the old combat, and everything is fine. "Modernized" my ass. There's no way CDPR ran this through a QA cycle.

I am already getting "Suicide Squad 2016, but Cyberpunk" vibes before it's even written. The sad part is, Cyberpunk lore is SO deep and Mike Pondsmith is such a fantastic loremaster but it seems like we're just getting a film retelling of the game instead of an OG story? Kind of disappointing.

No, you shouldn't start live streaming. The world wants to see your unique art. Now more than ever. Sitting there playing video games live is NOT that. Streaming and streamers are a net-negative. My "controversial" opinion is that it's the laziest form of content creation. You're better than that.

RS1 was the OG launched game. The next installment was RS2, which was a heavily improved version, with new lore and engine. RS3 is the chronological continuation of the lore, and the 4th installment is going to be set in a new age. Some spin offs too, like RuneScape: Dragonwilds.

Some people are such cunts. I was walking my (very nervous) pooch through my local industrial estate, and some hood clad guy had to assert his dominance on pavement by trying to walk into me. There was a fence to my left, where the dog was wedged in-between and he was coming directly into me.

A family member suggested I use ChatGPT to write vows to my wife-to-be in 2024 when I had a nervous writers block. He followed up with "if I had access to that kind of thing then, I'd use it to converse with my wife too" in her presence... and she didn't even acknowledge it. People are weird man.

Does anyone have decent deterrents for cats? They keep shitting in and eating my plants (of which are toxic to them). My dog keeps on trying to eat the cat shit too. I'm so damn sick of the pet cats in this area that are just wrecking my garden. Any advice at all would be magical.

I love project zomboid, and it's modding scene - but the community is full of absolute dipshits. My friend has just published his first mod, advertised it on reddit and now he's being harassed for making 'Ai Slop'. Of which, nothing in his mod was created by. I even helped him with the Lua!

I sold my PS5 already for a Switch 2, and I don't feel I've made any misstep with that choice. There haven't been any killer exclusive games that I haven't already played before with a different skin. How lackluster Wolverine was when I played it on my brothers PS5 kind of reinforced my decision.

I remember when I used to give shit to developers during the PS3/Xbox360 era when games were more than 8GBs big... good times. Rockstar have even less of a reason to compress their games, I guess because they know everyone is installing GTA 6 anyway. Which is kinda sad, really.

I'm not going to lie in the footage in the article video, on PC it looks WAY too pristine which makes it look really flat. Surprisingly, the rough around the edges of the Switch 2 version make it fit more comfortably into a fantasy setting. Maybe just bad gamma settings set on the PC version.

I agree! Dungeon Crawler Carl doesn't really work for me. To me, it feels like if a mediocre marvel movie was a book. The story that it's trying to tell, and the mechanics it's presenting are hard to digest in the medium it's in. Safe to say, I won't be picking up the next entry.

My guys friends get very confused when I tell them my favourite literature and media tends to heavily involve romance and cute relationships. Big fan of the forbidden or uncommon love trope, which forces a "will they? won't they?" dynamic but not self-imposed because of bad character writing.
