i so wish i'd managed to get better photos of this! it's still one of my favorite pieces and the photos i did get just don't do it justice.

did this day of the dead sugar skull a while ago! she was done in two sessions so these pictures show a partially-healed, partially-fresh tattoo. i was stoked to get to do something with a lot of personal and cultural significance for my client. [ #tattoo #tattooapprentice #calavera #sugarskull ]

pretending like layoffs are a Good Thing is actually awful messaging?? the actual least you can do is pretend to be sad about it in your press releases lmao

i'd recommend checking out local groups in some states you plan on moving to for a vibe check. reddit can be a good place for this. if you have any friends who lived or currently live in those areas, ask them their opinion, too!

000

Jack Kirby @coyoteroyalty.bsky.social · 22/01/2025

finding a place to rent from states away is definitely possible, but i do recommend either looking up reviews of the property management company/apartment complex/etc. and i second spending the money to go see the place in person.

i've done big moves several times (tennesse -> minnesota -> oregon -> texas -> colorado) and it's absolutely doable in 5 months. it's obviously easier the fewer things you have to move so, if you can, sell your furniture and pare down your belongings as much as possible.

i actually set up a lil discord server for myself that i use as a separate storage for stuff like this! it has all my tattoo photos and videos and a ton of reference photos that are tagged for easy searching. keeps my phone photos decently cleaned out.

looks like it's time for an introduction! i'm a tattoo apprentice specializing in full-color neotraditional work. my favorite subjects are animals, witchy things, and subtle nerdy stuff. i'll be slowly uploading my backlog but here's a lil sampler of some of my favorites out of my first 10 tattoos!

a collage of tattoos including a cat paw, a fern leaf, a rainbow mushroom, zoro's jolly roger with a rose, and a pink and blue candy. overlaid with the username "coyote royalty".
