I can't stand this subscription based existence. Every part of our lives is a subscription. We have to pay for the right to exist and it's doing my head in. Also, you offer $8 prepay "plans" but your minimum top up os $10?! WTF? How is that even legal?

Recently switched to prepaid phone after being in a monthly plan for like 16 years. Turns out true prepaid doesn't exist anymore. It's still a subscription! Prepaid used to mean pay upfront, then it is depleted with use. I've paid $8 and used none of it. Therefore I should not have to top up! Argh!!

Ha, I've never heard it, I guess I wouldn't really, being as I come from or relate to Australia or New Zealand, so we wouldn't talk about ourselves in such a way. You've got me looking it up now, and learning things 😀

EP 4 of celebrity traitors isn't on Three Now yet 😠 I had Sunday night traitors viewing in my mind, so I'm forced to give series 3 of NZ traitors a go. Good to see Madeleine Sami in the host role, she was great on Bake Off. Paul Henry really didn't work for me.

Nouveau's new car booster seat where she can sit and silently judge us. #Cats

Yeah 😞 I've never not had cats for 47 years. Unfortunately I've only ever had one pass 14 years. So much tragedy, so much pain. I sometimes wonder why I keep putting myself through it. But then I remember it's not about me, it's about giving them the best lives for the short time they are with us.

Never, not once in the whole almost 9 years since I adopted Nouveau, has she climbed onto the top of the tall chest of drawers in my bedroom. So I put the kitten food up there, thinking I'd sneakily figured out how to keep her from eating it. Felt pretty proud of myself...

I've just noticed my phone's lock screen has placed the clock behind Baz's ears.

It was back in the early 2000s. Sue Perkins and Giles Corrin they dress up in the outfit of a particular period in history and stay for a week in a house reflecting the time and eat the food. It's genuinely hilarious.

Yeah I'm from NZ too, I found it the same, weird mix. I did get into it after a few episodes, the Au one too, but because they're so different, not at the castle, not got Claudia, and the format was quite different at times, I really didn't care if I they made another series or not.

She gonna suffer. Not sure what to do. She's refusing to eat her own food and is only eating theirs. She's on a special digestive diet because she has had some digestive issues, and she likely gonna now get the shits cos she's just eating kitten food when she's nearly 9 years old with sensitive tum.

Oh you've only ever seen two episodes?! Gosh, it honestly my favourite show ever. UK though, so so good. I did not enjoy the NZ one and I really struggled with the Au one also, first series, I haven't seen any other series.

And also bird flu has just recently landed on our shores too, which cats can get if they eat an infected bird. I just don't want them to ever feel trapped, like they're in prison, and bored, depressed. I'm looking in to catios.

I have been researching catios and harnesses, I think I will do that. I have a little courtyard that would be perfect for a catio. I've seen some smaller portable style ones that will be good in the interim until I can build up the finyds for something a bit more permanent.

I'm in a country where cats have always been outside, we have no predators, cats *are* the predators. I've made the decision to keep my kittens inside, I live on a busy road, but I'm facing negativity and judgment from people... It's upsetting me and making me question if I'm doing the right thing.
