I was just in Rome, Italy this month doing a collaboration with 40 teens from around the world. I tried "imagination portraits" where I used AI to create their imagination and then projected it onto their face. Can't wait to show you the results. Would you want to try this?

I shoot digitally but my process is unpredictable like film. I always have 8+ light setups firing randomly plus hundreds of backdrops changing every 0.1 seconds. Plus crap in front of the lens. Plus slow shutter speeds and camera shakes. The results? Unpredictable fun. Like film.

I've had what feels like 20 different careers in my lifetime but having my art in galleries is still the core dream that I've never once pursued. Ironic, isn't it? Today, I used AI to showcase this actual piece of my art (NOT AI) in a museum. Sigh, one can dream.

For their 2nd piece of art, @cowart.bsky.social asked Jen who was in New York for cancer treatment to write “even the darkness deserves stars.” He then projected her handwriting into her daughter Ellie’s eye and captured the image.
