The volunteers were working under a dramatic sky this week... ❤️

One of our volunteers is on the way to Munich, and was just presented with this. Hearts follow us. ❤️

We nearly got lost under the autumn leaves blowing along the wall today🍁❤️

An open backpack set near to the memorial wall. Leaves surround it, and some leaves have even blown into it.

We're so proud of our volunteer Lynn Jones MBE who, in addition to being a trustee of and volunteer for our charity, has also been instrumental in achieving this local memorial in Stoke-on-Trent. ❤️

Sharpie work. Part of a volunteer's day is spent restoring faded writing. We will never forget them. ♥️

I was so proud to welcome my late husband's family to the @covidmemorialwall.bsky.social today. Seeing them, I stay connected to him. ♥️

#ThrowbackThursday Remembering the day the ten Friends of the Wall became the trustees and volunteers of The National Covid Memorial Wall CIO, working towards the permanence of the national memorial to our beloved covid dead. We will never forget them. ♥️

The seasons change. Our love does not. We will never forget them. ♥️🍂

Three years ago the Commission for Covid Commemoration recommended that the National Covid Memorial Wall should be preserved. In Autumn 2025 the UK government announced that it had accepted this recommendation and the team are working with our Trustees for the Wall's preservation. ♥️

This morning I happened upon this; The National Covid Memorial Wall. It stopped me in my tracks. I got quite choked up reading some of the dedications. Memories. Theirs and mine. If you ever find yourself across the river from the Houses of Parliament, take some time, stop, remember.
