The Annual Canvass carries on! If you've had a letter from us asking who lives at your address, please respond online. It only takes five minutes. If you fill it out early, the Council won’t have to send you any reminders and can leave you alone!

Every year, we have to check if the details we hold on the Electoral Register are correct. This is called the Annual Canvass and it started last Friday (17 July). So we're going to be sending you a form.

With temperatures set to rise to 30°C and above, our bin crews will start one hour earlier than usual to avoid some of the heat. So please have your bins out and ready for 6am. We recommend putting them out the night before the collection. Thank you for your patience.

Due to the heat, collections are taking longer than usual to allow crews to take regular water breaks. Tomorrow, we'll only collect green and brown bins. If your blue bin is due, please still put it out . We'll collect it on Saturday or Monday instead. Thank you for your patience.
