Laís played, Kaká played for the first time since March (and both looked pretty good overall), Guti scored two goals off the bench and Boston beat Portland at home This is truly the best day.

The fact this happened on a day where several ISA members took a field trip down to DC for the game is amazing

That might be the hottest and most miserable I’ve been at a sporting event in a long time weather wise but oh my gosh that game!!! Totally worth it. Time for an ice bath and a nap. LFG LEGACY

Just in case it needs reiterating: TRANS PEOPLE BELONG EVERYWHERE.

HOLY SHIT LETS GO LEGACY. (Am I salty AF that Kaká didn’t play? Sure am but yall will just have to listen to me complain about it on the podcast for another week) But holy shit the Legacy beat Utah?

So it does seem like Murphy does have a bit of a finger issue going on. She also is available as a sub if needed. So, I think we were all maybe a little bit correct in some ways lol

Courtney Andros @courtstar413.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Kaká AND Laís are off the injury report for the Legacy. Will either of them play tomorrow? Who knows but finally my wish has come true and everyone can stop listening to me complain about it on the podcast lol

Dear Legacy, Kaká not being listed on the availability report at D45 anymore better not be a typo or an error….

This one has two “Friends” formatted alternative titles. “The other one where Courtney makes her friends be on the podcast” and “The one where Courtney is oddly the optimistic one in the predictions”. This weeks Swan Dive out now. Get it where you get your podcasts

I did not have enough pretzels or Dels this season so now we know where my priorities lie for 2027 lol

Disappointing but so glad they are committing to one location for the entire season and telling us about it now.

Dolly Parton…the word “legend” doesn’t seem like enough. Outside of all of her musical accomplishments, she seemed to be an absolutely extraordinary human. This one hurts

So, yeah. League sources tell me that Gotham did not expect Esther to sign with another club this soon. Makes sense, since all of the communications from the club around her departure were that she was leaving to attend to personal matters in Spain. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My mom just now, belatedly texting me about the Legacy game last night (she was flipping between that, the Red Sox and Patriots: “That lady’s foul lost the game!” Indeed it did, mom, indeed it did. *sigh*

Play like shit for 3/4 of a game, get a stoppage time goal, give up a PK 2 minutes later. This team drives me crazy.

Why is there a commercial in the middle of the game!?

020

Courtney Andros @courtstar413.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

No that reference after that Rodman goal was THE WORST

030

Courtney Andros @courtstar413.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Someone must have read these Bluesky posts during halftime because we have gone a record amount of time without a shitty Disney reference…

020

Courtney Andros @courtstar413.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

I’m sure Disney Princess Night seemed like a great idea and I’m sure it was fun but oh my gosh all of the forced Disney references in the commentary is the absolute worst. So cringeworthy and I say that as a Disney person.
