My little reader heart both loves and hates a cliffhanger all at the same time. That said, I really hate when a book is leading towards a reveal of some kind then has a cliffhanger and the sequel book completely changes the momentum. It takes the wind out of my sails and leaves me so frustrated 😭

Happy Pride! Reminder, multiple things can be true. Corporations have reduced pride displays further showing their "support" was bought. Yet, those displays were indicative of a more accepting society. Those of us that grew up without public LGBTQ+ support understand how those displays first felt.

Grand gestures are amazing, but personally what gets me are the smaller gestures. Paying attention to small details noone else notices and putting in effort on things that you couldn't care less about. Trying to surround them with as much love and joy as possible day to day.
