(3/3) Basically going back to my roots for a bit and focusing more on landscapes and things that aren't human/humanoid anatomy. There's also things I wanna experiment with and push a certain style more so I'll probably focus on that for a while between comms when I'm back.

(2/3) I kept coming back to the sketch and no matter what there'd always be something I had to fix. New piece, same thing. Everytime I found things, that just didn't look correct to me, anatomy wise. So now I'm taking a break from doing character art until I'm back from vacation.

(1/3) After starting a sketch for a 'The Hood' fanart piece, I realized that since BG3 dropped, I have been mostly drawing character art. Either my own OCs or fanart or commissions. This only occured to me when I kept finding things that looked off to me.

XVI. THE TOWER #commission

a tarot card depicting the tarot card. in the card, two pale characters form both the tower and the figures that traditionally fall from it. a great funerary monument is erected in the background in a barren wood. a card traditionally represented with sudden, chaotic change and loss of self, the characters grapple with these themes as much as the land itself. the land is a graveyard, but also a bed : death and vitality struggle against eachother.

simon grimes 🦇 #art #oc #ocsky

A digital portrait illustration of an androgynous character with a neutral expression with his eyes slightly looking up at the camera. His complexion is light and pale, covered in moles and some subtle freckles. His eyes are dark blue with defined lashes, looking very tired with his eyebrows being slightly raised. He has an aquiline nose and small lips, with his upper lips being uneven - his right upper lip is thinner than the other. The hair is long and black with a blue hint to it. The style of it is rather messy and gives him an almost heart-shaped curtain bangs.
The background is beige with three big red poppy flowers behind the character. End ID.
