I hope the Microsoft team doesn't forget about Loop, I would like to keep using it for work, I enjoy it much more than OneNote and, gods forbid, Word

You know how hard it is to avoid gluten and dairy (to which I am intolerant) when you live in Wisconsin and the bakery team at work is really good?

Without non-competes, you run the risk of laying off enough employees to create new competition in the market Having that kind of consequence is probably important

Sam Clemente @countablenewt.allthingstech.social.ap.brid.gy · 09/01/2025

Mass layoffs and non-competes are just a little bit incompatible if you care at all about the unemployment rate

Am I in a weird position being able to say this kind of stuff since my stigmatized traits are, for the most part, concealable? Yeah, kinda I'm not going to get the same kind of abuse as someone with less concealable traits, but really this is what it boils down to The government is really […]

Now it's really just up to you to moderate what you want to see Could it be a problem? Yeah, probably, but we'll have to see how it goes There's a difference between allowing hate speech and saying that it's okay, under the 1st amendment we really see that Is it a good thing that they're […]

Okay so I was going to make a blog post about this, but I don't really think there's enough here to make one: Without Section 230 Meta could be held liable for what's being said on their platforms, removing a lot of those internal restrictions basically just means they are less liable going […]

It's a shame that I can't really use my personal productivity system for work, but with the sensitive nature of the data I work with it makes sense With that being said, Microsoft's tools are actually kinda nice, I actually enjoy using To-Do and Loop is nowhere near as fully featured as Notion […]
