i think if anything what i learned about myself is that while i always say i'll listen to lots of different things, the list of things that actually stick with me is much shorter. not a bad thing either, just interesting to see that, and that my most-listened artists mostly aren't even on here LOL

really only thinking about the front-to-back experience, not singles or any other metrics, and specifically at this point in my life -- looked very diff years ago and yes, there are a TON of classics i badly need to listen to that would probably be low-hanging fruit to bump things off of here :p

yknow, i've been working on this list for weeks and i just know in my heart if i keep letting myself shuffle things around the bottom half it's never gonna get posted ordered to the best of my ability, which breaks down rapidly after a couple rows. no claims of objectivity, it's just what i like!

i dont even really know what to say loved loved loved playing the actual game hated that despite promises, it was way too technical to actually get my friends into super hated that they basically took the game out back 3 weeks after release with 50% layoffs. this outcome feels inevitable

i briefly tried the beta... look, i've played a lot of fighting games. marvel tokon might be the single weirdest fighting game i've ever played lol. i kinda don't think i like it but it's so hard to tell without seeing what the game will actually end up looking like

the feelings this universe has given me are so vast. it's a horrible tragedy that I cannot experience them again - not even because I know what's coming, or because I don't have time, but because much of it is no longer accessible... 😭 but I'll leave that be. i am thankful and mournful, not bitter.

I was 17 when Destiny 1 came out. I fell in love with the world and then had to abandon it pretty much right away for college. I came back when Destiny 2 released and made incredible memories, and then again when Covid hit... and though I didn't play, I did watch The Final Shape very emotionally

i've been quiet about it what with everything going on in my life right now, but i'm long overdue in taking a moment to mourn this game. i don't put it on my fav game lists because only because i dont list live service, but destiny is one of my favorite things ever made thank you for everything 💜

the ending of star fox adventures is one of the funniest things i cannot talk about because even though its a 25 year old game, i still feel like people who don't know should get to experience the most ridiculous possible conclusion to a narrative that i think ive ever seen in my life

e33 feels like it moves the english major in me. it's a very beautifully constructed game. but there is something raw about the way xc3 does it that appeals to the soul, if i can borrow such an idea, and even if there are so many things it gets wrong. i think fans of either should try both!

being much weaker of a game in terms of structure, narrative cohesion, gameplay, etc. e33 feels much tighter and more refined in every sense. it's the better game from a technical standpoint. yet while i appreciate it a lot and love it as a game, it doesn't move me in nearly the same way

after having rewatched xc3 again in 2026 i think the thing i'm most fascinated by is how it feels in comparison with e33. two games that are so similar in subject matter but couldn't be more different in nature and feel. xc3's raw emotion is incredible and makes it more memorable to me despite

lots of spotify discourse going around and im reminded with great annoyance about how i tried to switch to apple music like 2 years ago, only to have issues with account creation so severe that a support ticket spanning several months & multiple phone calls could not enable me to use the service
