#ZombieSkullTober DAY 08 Found an old brush pen that has no buisness still being alive and useable. Was fun. Will use again. 12 stars.

(Continued from Day 2) Now, a third zombie appears! It leans into fram behind the 1st, to the right, it's skeletal arms rest on a massive jack-o-lantern at the bottom of the page. The pumpkins top vine winds through the boney arms of the zombie, twisting around until it grows right into it's skull.

#ZombieSkullTober DAY 02 Not ruined, but not exactly great. I do like the way I started handling the vines, so, little wins.

One main vine snakes down, weaving around his arms and attaches on the zombies head, which is covered in a toupe of leaves. It's stomach is open, and inside, where it's guts should be is more vines and small pumpkins. Behind the first zombie, a second is hunched, half in shadow, the weight of the massive Jack'o'Lantern on it's back. I think I was going for an 'Atlas-type' pose, but not sure it worked.

Ink Drawing of the Geiger's Xenomorph from the Aliens franchise. Seen from the side, arms at it's sides. It has a long, head, and the neck joins it in the middle, so it looks a little like a 'T'. Tubes and cylindrical mounds and ruffs snake around the form.

My version of Marie's Red-faced Skull-Knight. A skeletal knight stands hunched, one sword lifted and resting on it's back. The other lowered, and resting on the ground, out of shot. It's Hot Pink, skeletal face stares off into the distance, mouth agape. It wears black, thorny armor, with barbed shoulder pads and thin, gangly arms and legs. It seems to hate Wizard Kings. On that, we agree.

Hey My name is Andy Cotnam. Was in games for my whole career, moving from Animation to Character Design/Concept. Now, not really sure what it is I do anymore. But I can still make fun and appealing characters. Haven't had an portfolio since the NO AI Artstation fiasco. Maybe I should get on that.

Couple versions of a Red-headed Warrior girl. Her right arm (in both versions) is covered in armor. Spikes on her gauntlets knuckles and shoulder pads. She has a leopard-print tube-top and matching skirt, cut to show off her thighs. She wears huge hoop earings and in one, has a far-superior side-cut.

Line-up of some character concepts. The first, a swash-buckling pirate. Red bandanna tied around their head. Dark hair, in a ponytail. Brown leather belt across waist, wrists and chest. They hold a massive sword/scimitar. Silver, curved blade and golden hilt. The second, a green, woodland elf. Long ears, with dark green hair. One massive shoulder pauldron with grass growing out of it in spikes. That same arm, a big gauntlet like hand with fingers of bark and vines wrapping around the hand and forearm. They hold a massive axe in the other hand. The blad is curved, but looks like it may be carved from stone. It also looks overgrown with vines and tendrils of green. The last, a dark-skinned warrior who wears a white hood, covering their grey hair and beard. Grey cloth pants and bare chest and arms save for a bandoleer over their chest. They hold a massive gold stave that has a golden scorpion tail at it's end.

3 characters. One, a dark elf with teal skin and hair white as snow, big red eyes and sharp, menacing teeth. She wields a massive bow that looks like bat wings. The second character is a stone skinned frost giant, with a horned helm and cloak of fur. They hold a massive hammer with a skull and tusks. The arm not holding the hammer is made if ice. The last character is the red-headed barbarian girl. She scowls , holding a menacing looking sword and shield.

Medusa at the center, her lower half is snake. Golden chains wrap her waist. Her eyes are a poisonous green. At her sides, a skeleton with a snake tail holding a sword coated in the same green as it's masters eyes. On the other, the same skeleton, it's skull removed to show the snake head underneath.

Sometimes I need to sit at the desk and remind myself I can still draw. Been letting the state of...<gestures to EVERYTHING> convince myself that drawing is pointless. That said, one of the few joys I find these days is coming here to see other people who are still making art and sharing it.

Day 4/5/6 of #zombieskulltober . I don't have a PS seat anymore, so I'm using an old copy of Clip Studio to try and clean up these, but whew. I have no idea how to get any of the things I need out of that program that I could in Photosux. So these will be weirdly washed out and grey for a bit.

Missed Day 02 because I went to see 'The Wild Robot' and became so dehydrated afterwards that I had to lie down. So to make up for it, I did this. Is it bad? Yes. But, if only you had seen it before I panicked and added the tones. Like the opposite of 'Wild Robot'. BAD. #zombieskulltober

Mermay piece. Death of a Sailor, who floats at the center of the page. His ship smashed on the sharp rocks behind him, his head barely above the water. Underneath, 3 evil looking mermaids tear at his clothes, pulling him down to his doom.

Down shot of my first 3 inktober pieces, arranged on my drawing table. 1st one, a crappy skeleton, mouth wide in a scream (?) wearing a cloak that half covers their skeleton body underneath. 2ns piece, a sci-fi Frankenstein sneering with lightning behind them, and the last, a weird little mecha/robot with a skull floating in a black lightbulb head, bat on the shoulder and tubing as guts pouring out of the steel ribcage.
